Universal Test Phantom for QA/QC at Dental 3D/DVT/CBCT equipment
The DVT_kp test phantom is designed for Quality Assurance/Quality Control at Cone Beam CT (CBCT) and/or Dental 3D equipment.

- Modular & future-proof design.
- Positioning: 1 Bubble Level; central markings (linear + selective).
- Optional holder equipment available.
- Test Objets: tissue equivalent; bone equivalent; air.
- Parameters: ContrastDVT / Noise / CNR / Homogeneity / Artefacts / MTF / Nyquist Frequency.
- Size: Ø 160 mm (_AP + _KP).
- Height: 40 mm (2x 20 mm).
Auto-Evaluation Software
The DVTpro QA/QC software automatically evaluates all the required parameters which contribute to the assessment of 3D imaging quality. The test procedure itself is straight-forward and self-explaining. Hence, only a minimum of time is needed to acquire all necessary parameters. In addition, a minimum of user interaction is required. The procedure is oriented towards a comprehensive collection and evaluation of computerised data. Merely the presence of artefacts is subject to a visual evaluation.
At present, both the software and QA phantom are still unique in their kind. They were developed using latest scientific insight into this new form of imaging technology.
This innovative way of QA/QC is being introduced as a National Standard in Germany.
